Shopee is now a very famous cross-border e-commerce platform. Many friends are opening stores on Shopee. In the process of applying for opening a store, you need to fill in information. Some friends filled in the wrong information for settlement. Can the Shopee settlement information be changed if it is filled in incorrectly?

1. Can I change the information I filled in incorrectly?

After half of the information is filled in, save the draft and you can continue to complete the information to settle in. Currently, Shopee's settlement is more user-friendly. You can pause and click Save Draft at any time during the information filling process. You can log in again by entering your main account and then continue to submit the information.

However, if the settlement information is filled in incorrectly but is already under review, it cannot be modified again. You can only modify it according to the content of the email and resubmit it after the settlement fails.

Compared with cross-border e-commerce platforms, Shopee has the lowest entry threshold. Although they all require a business license to get started, Shopee's requirements are not as strict. For novice sellers with no experience and resources, it is the lowest cost to enter the field of cross-border e-commerce.

2. Do I need a deposit?

If you want to open a store on Shopee, you don’t need a deposit, but the platform will charge a certain transaction fee, and other fees are paid by merchants according to their needs.

The materials needed to open a Shopee store include the company's business license, the legal person's ID card of the business license, mobile phone number, QQ number, email address, and the recent three-month bank statements of a store on another e-commerce platform and no less than 50 SKU products. These are the main materials needed to register a store.

Store opening process:

1. Register independently through the official website or green channel; if you choose a service provider, be sure to review its qualifications to avoid being deceived.

2. After submitting the information, there will generally be a reply within 3-5 days. Please pay attention to the email information (including the spam folder). The review results and store opening link will be sent via email.

3. After clicking the link to complete the store opening, immediately complete the basic settings such as payment information (choose one of Lianlian, Payoneer or Pingpong), logistics channel (mainly SLS) and return address.

If you have filled in the wrong information for Shopee registration, if you have not submitted it and only saved the draft, you can modify it. However, if it is already under review, you cannot modify it again. You can only fill it out again after the registration fails!
