What is the Amazon Account Health Rating feature? Detailed introduction

Every day, Amazon's mission is to provide global customers with a wider selection of products and more favorable prices. Achieving this mission also requires the success of third-party sellers and how Amazon can help its seller partners to provide customers with a trustworthy shopping environment.

Based on this, Amazon launched its latest tool for sellers - the fully upgraded "Account Health Rating" function.

Amazon continues to invest in providing sellers with more powerful tools, services and support to help them grow their businesses and succeed on Amazon. We continue to listen to feedback from sellers and hope to innovate more for them to enhance their selling experience on Amazon.

This includes helping sellers better understand and comply with Amazon's policies, thereby creating a good shopping experience for customers. In recent years, Amazon has continuously invested, improved and helped sellers in many areas. We hope to make communication clearer, responses more timely, and reminders of seller violations more explicit. This innovative feature, the fully upgraded Account Health Rating, can help sellers better comply with Amazon's policies and protect account health. "Account Health Rating" will be launched first on Amazon's US and Canadian sites in August, and will be promoted to global sites in 2023.

The newly upgraded “Account Status Rating” helps sellers fully understand their account status through simple and easy-to-understand seller account numerical display, and presents the seller’s current account status based on the three numerical definitions of “healthy”, “at risk” or “unhealthy”.

The new Account Health Rating is also an improvement based on the core feedback we received from sellers.

First, sellers said that they are more interested in understanding the health of their overall account than a list of violations that may lead to account suspension. The new account health rating is such a tool that comprehensively displays the health of the account and will also be the decisive factor for Amazon to take account suspension measures for cumulative violations.

Second, if there are significant violations that affect your account health rating, you can clearly see the severity of each violation to ensure that you can prioritize resolving the more serious violations.

Third, we also understand that sellers want more help from Amazon to better understand and comply with Amazon's policies. Therefore, we are also working to enable sellers to contact Amazon more efficiently when they need help or have questions. Now, Amazon's account status support team can help sellers by phone or email.
