So what products can't be followed by Amazon?

Brand products or products that have obtained exclusive sales authorization, as well as product information that has not been approved by the category, cannot be followed for sale.

Amazon's rules for restricting copycat sales:

1. Item consistency

The products that Amazon sellers want to sell must be consistent with existing products, including brand, picture, title, origin, color, model, parameters, material, packaging, etc. Sales can only be made in accordance with the principle of product consistency.

2. Brand authorization

There are some products with well-known corporate brand culture. If sellers want to follow-sell them on Amazon, they must obtain authorization from the brand in advance.

3. Product Infringement

Amazon allows sellers to follow suit, but they must be careful not to infringe on other stores’ intellectual property rights, trademarks, patents, etc.

4. Category Approval

Some corporate products need to pass classification review. If the product information cannot obtain category approval, it cannot be followed and sold.

5. Product guarantee

Sellers should ensure the products they want to sell, their own stable supply and quality assurance of the products, rather than just selling and following.

In general, do not follow the sales of products from well-known corporate brands. If you want to follow the sales, you must first obtain brand authorization. Secondly, if the product has not been approved by the category, you cannot follow the sales.
