From the internal beta push mechanism to the launch of the "content boosting" function, public accounts are undergoing a silent transformation. This is not only a technological iteration, but also a profound innovation in the interaction model between creators and readers.

Recently, a new mechanism has emerged for subscription account push.

After opening the subscription account box, the public accounts that you have not followed will be pushed to the box. The push mechanism is not clear at present, but according to the existing information, the public accounts that you have seen but not followed in the past will reappear in the user's field of vision, providing an opportunity to follow the public accounts again.

However, this feature is still in internal testing and has not yet been fully launched.

Over the past year, many updates have been made to the public account push in the subscription account box, such as internal test newsletters, recommendation mechanism algorithm optimization, etc. The most common update is to use the subscription account box to push video account content of the public account you have followed.

Some industry insiders jokingly call the current public account a text-and-picture version of TikTok, where the push mechanism is no longer based on time order, but has become more diversified. Although the official recommendation mechanism has not yet been clarified, we may be able to get a glimpse of it from the growth incentive plan for new public account creators.

In July this year, the official account launched the "Content Boost" function. Successfully promoted content will have the opportunity to be recommended in "Subscription Account Message > Take a Look".

The corresponding incentives also have trigger mechanisms, such as first review, first repost, first message, etc. From the triggering conditions, we can see that the public account is still more concerned with messages, replies, interactions, etc., and these contents are also important factors in entering the recommendation mechanism.

To date, the number of users who frequently read the official accounts has dropped due to the users being divided up by external platforms. For this reason, the official has also increased its efforts on the official accounts to win back the users. Just as the video accounts were previously pushed into the public eye, the official is also working hard to bring more official accounts back into the public eye.

This is undoubtedly a good thing for creators who have been working on official accounts. After all, the opening of the new recommendation mechanism means that they will have more chances to be recommended.

For old creators, it can reactivate the opening and reading of the official account, and for new creators, it can also achieve the effect of quickly increasing the volume through recommendations.
