The internal testing of the WeChat Store Assistant APP marks the further expansion of WeChat in the field of e-commerce. Designed specifically for merchants, this APP provides a convenient mobile management platform that enables merchants to manage goods, transactions, and customer service more efficiently. As the internal testing progresses, we can foresee that WeChat Stores will bring more convenience and opportunities to merchants, while also injecting new vitality into WeChat's e-commerce ecosystem.

During the National Day holiday, the WeChat Store Assistant APP was also quietly tested. The first batch of users participating in the test were mostly invited, and the APP was aimed at merchants, and the Android and iOS versions were tested simultaneously.

According to information shared by beta test users, the first Android 1.0.0 version was released on September 27, and the iOS beta version was launched on September 29. As of October 4, the version has been upgraded to 1.0.1.

From the screenshots of the APP that have been circulated, it can be seen that the "WeChat Store Assistant APP" is divided into four tabs, namely (as shown below): "Home", "Message", "Growth", and "Store". Among them:

The "Homepage" is the core page that contains operational data, publishes and manages products, processes transaction orders, and manages marketing and stores.

"Messages" include basic order notifications, customer service communications, etc.

"Growth" mainly includes official platform rights and function introductions, case sharing, and business guidance.

"Shop" is similar to the "My" page for individual users, mainly including settings, store information, feedback, etc.

Users who participated in the internal test told Jianshi that the content in the "Growth" TAB is currently from the official website, and no third-party content has been seen yet. The customer service in the "Message" TAB will clearly allow third-party access, and even the interface has been released during the internal testing of the APP. And from the current internal testing of the customer service function, it seems that it will not be connected to corporate WeChat for the time being. However, the launch of these two major capabilities, customer service and data, will save some operating expenses for brands and merchants.

Previously, when brands/merchants used WeChat for Enterprise customer service, if they wanted to view the relevant purchase records of consulting users in the sidebar and send products to users, they needed to use applications developed by third-party service providers. According to the current quotes of some service providers, the prices ranged from 500 to 1,200 yuan/year/seat. However, through the test of the APP, these capabilities will be directly connected and no longer need to be purchased separately, which is equivalent to saving some expenses.

In the functional introduction of "WeChat Store Assistant APP", the following key points are shown:

1. Flexible and convenient store management: support product, transaction, marketing and store management on mobile terminals; support receiving system message reminders to avoid missing important notifications such as user consultations;

2. Get message reminders in time: Improve customer service capabilities, support automatic reply settings; support sending order and product cards;

3. Real-time monitoring of transaction data: Compass supports detailed viewing of key data such as transactions, products, live broadcasts and short videos.

The current beta version is obviously not yet fully implemented. After experiencing the APP, beta users said that the current version can be used normally. Compared with the PC version, it still lacks some functions, such as "the ability to query user information and purchase records", which is expected to be supplemented soon.

In addition, the "Real-time monitoring of transaction data" item in the above function introduction is expected to be launched after the National Day holiday (as shown above).
