What are the storage fees charged by Amazon US ?

Currently, Amazon only charges monthly storage fees and long-term storage fees, and the specific fees are mainly related to the volume of the product and the storage time in the FBA warehouse.

Monthly storage fee:

According to Amazon's policy, the monthly inventory storage fee is charged based on the average daily volume of the space occupied by the seller's inventory in the fulfillment center (measured in cubic feet, length x width x height in inches).

Monthly storage fees are charged as follows:

January - September is $0.75 per cubic foot. October - December is $2.40 per cubic foot. The current monthly storage fee schedule for oversized items will remain unchanged.

Long-term storage fees:

Amazon Logistics Long-term Storage Fee: On the 15th of each month, Amazon Logistics (FBA) will conduct an inventory cleanup.

On this date, Amazon will charge a long-term storage fee (LTSF) of $6.90 per cubic foot, or $0.15 per unit (whichever is greater), for inventory that has been in our U.S. fulfillment centers for more than 365 days.

How to charge for excess storage?

If the seller exceeds the storage limit, Amazon will charge an overage fee for the excess amount. The amount of the overage fee depends on the number of days the storage limit is exceeded, which is based on the average daily volume of all the space your inventory occupies in Amazon's fulfillment centers that exceeds the storage limit.

If the inventory you have in an Amazon fulfillment center exceeds your storage limit on any day during the month, you will be charged a storage overage fee.

Even if your inventory levels later fall back within your allocated storage limit for the month, you will still be charged the fee. The amount of the storage overage fee depends on the number of days you were over your storage limit.

US station: $10/cubic foot (about $357/cubic meter)
