Scam 3: Malicious Substitution

Amazon's policies generally tend to protect the interests of buyers, and this is taken advantage of by some scammers who use this buyer protection policy to defraud sellers of refunds.

Scam 4: Paypal account phishing

PayPal users have reported that there are often buyers who want to conduct transactions with them through PayPal, but the cross-border e-commerce platforms they are on do not support this payment method. However, in order to obtain more orders, buyers provide this payment method offline. However, precisely because of the principle of diversification of payment methods, their PayPal accounts have been frozen or even cleared one after another.

Scam 5: Selling accounts

A seller announced in the group that a certain QQ and Alipay account, with the authenticated person being someone, was a liar. The seller was defrauded when buying the account and spent 600 yuan. The defrauded seller reminded that anyone who wants to buy a Wish, eBay, or Amazon account should be careful, as this person is a liar and many people have been defrauded when buying an account. When buying an account, do not pay through WeChat or Alipay first.

Scam 6: Selling information

Everyone wants to get some relevant information, improve their operational level, quickly place orders, and create hot products. However, some sellers are too utilitarian and are exploited by malicious scammers. They spend money to buy a lot of so-called internal training materials, but the sellers take the money and leave.

Scam 7: Help unblock your account

The victim said, Hello everyone, I also do business on Amazon. At the beginning of the year, one of my products was blocked on the European site. When I was feeling discouraged, a man named Kevin said he was a professional in helping people solve these problems. He said he could help me. Since we met through a friend, he asked me to pay him a deposit of more than 2,000 yuan, so I did. I think you all can imagine what happened next.

Cross-border e-commerce is not a scam, you can rest assured, but you must open a store and operate it yourself. If you must find someone to help you open and operate the store, choose a reliable platform, otherwise you will easily be deceived.
