We-media IP entrepreneurship | 100 money-making knowledge series I bought in 6 months

On the road to entrepreneurship, every collision of ideas is like a blooming firework, lighting up the way forward. And the real power often comes from a group of like-minded people working together. Today, let us explore the secrets of self-media entrepreneurship.

The climax of entrepreneurs often comes from the sparks after the collision of each other's insights! One person can go fast, but a group of people can go further.

1.

When you reach a certain stage in self-media, you have to learn to find a circle.

A good network of contacts can help you quickly enter the mature stage from the development stage! In addition, don’t force yourself to join a circle that you shouldn’t join…

If you enter a circle where the ability and value are not equal, you will just be left staring blankly!

Do you expect to stand out among hundreds of thousands of people? How do you understand the circle that suits you?

The circle that suits you best is the one where you can use traffic trading, resource trading, and information asymmetry trading.

How to leverage strengths and opportunities to achieve win-win results is a compulsory course for entrepreneurs!

2.

The street stall economy is also a traffic product conversion logic.

Offline stalls are quite common in my hometown, with different stalls, different products, and different target groups; but these vendors will definitely set up stalls in places with dense traffic.

Although they don’t understand the concepts of general traffic and precise traffic, they do know the concept of traffic conversion funnel. Simply put, in their understanding, if there are many people who see it, there will always be a few who will pay for it.

So, where is the traffic-intensive area on the Internet?

There is no doubt that on content platforms such as official accounts, video accounts, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, etc., most of the target groups for you to sell products online are on these content platforms. Do you want to set up stalls on these platforms to generate income?

So content creators on the Internet are also setting up stalls, but the stalls are just accounts. The only difference from setting up stalls offline is that you have to fight for account traffic yourself, and there is no free "stall traffic" on content platforms.

Many underlying logics of offline and online are similar. For example, the chain store model corresponds to the account matrix thinking.

Grasp the underlying rules and respond to ever-changing situations with the same principles; the same applies to traffic and marketing.

3.

The desire to express is the foundation of IP creation, not whether you can write or not.

Being a self-media IP is actually no different from setting up a stall to start a business. If you are thin-skinned, afraid of being scolded, and really can't eat this bowl of rice... If you don't have the desire to express yourself, don't even think about being a self-media. Forcing yourself to output and write will only backfire.

Of course, the desire to express oneself, based on my own experience, is something that will be strong at times and weak at times...As far as the desire to express oneself is concerned, I think 641 is really amazing in terms of content continuity, there is really nothing to say about it.

Since you are doing IP, just sell your ideas if you have them. People who care about other people's opinions will definitely have a hard time succeeding. After all, consensus often only occurs among a few people.

Who cares who it is, the traffic is hustle and bustle, people come and go, just remember that 1,000 die-hard fans are enough, and the rest you can just consider as blessings.

4.

To run your own media is about traffic logic, private domain, and conversion logic. From the perspective of a super individual IP, running your own media is about exchanging content for traffic.

You create an IP image through rich content on the front end, but ultimately you still have to make conversions in the private domain.

Therefore, once there is a deviation/disconnection in the shaping of users between private domain IP and public domain IP, it will be difficult to improve the conversion rate in the private domain. So I always suggest that IP should be true to itself. If you pretend, you will be bitten sooner or later!

From the perspective of traffic alone, I have come into contact with many bloggers and entrepreneurs, and found a very interesting phenomenon:

  1. Good at recommending traffic, but doesn’t understand search traffic logic
  2. Good at searching traffic, but don’t understand the logic of recommending traffic
  3. Good at both recommendation and search, but not at paid placement

Fortunately, my work experience has taught me a lot, so at least I can produce some small results without any problems...

In fact, the underlying logic of these traffic strategies is inseparable from a core keyword: content marketing.

The key is how to create content that is effective for users under different traffic rules!

That’s what I always say:

The essence of obtaining platform traffic is algorithm + content, and the essence of content is understanding human nature.

I have also concluded that content is the carrier of traffic and also the carrier of marketing.

Content power is the foundation for IP to continue to achieve results.

So, when you have nothing to do, you should practice writing short essays. Judging from my writing records on official accounts and WeChat Moments, text output can indeed help people continuously iterate and improve their thinking and expression, as well as their writing skills!

Of course, the prerequisite is that you must have the desire to express yourself and the habit of reviewing and summarizing.
