WeChat store incentive policy is here!

In order to encourage more merchants to join WeChat Stores and help existing merchants grow better, WeChat has recently launched a series of incentive policies to help merchants gain more opportunities on WeChat, a huge social platform.

A few days ago, the official announced an incentive policy for new merchants on WeChat Stores, which involved five major incentive methods: lowering thresholds, reducing costs, promoting growth, increasing benefits, and adding tools.

The specific incentive methods are as follows:

Benefit 1: WeChat store merchants who meet specific conditions do not need to pay a deposit after opening a store, can directly publish products, and use some of the store's capabilities for trial operations.

It should be noted that this benefit is only applicable to new merchants who have not paid a store deposit and have not put any products on the shelves.

Benefit 2: Within 90 days from the date of successful store opening for new merchants (merchants opening WeChat stores for the first time), the technical service fee rate for the first 1 million yuan of merchant self-operated transaction volume will be reduced to 1% (regardless of category).

Benefit 3: New merchants can receive a 1,000-point e-commerce growth card every month for three consecutive months.

New merchants are defined as those who complete the registration of WeChat Store/Video Account Store between July 1, 2024 and October 31, 2024.

Certain conditions must be met, that is, within 90 days after the first ordinary order is paid, and no later than 180 days after registration, the number of effective sales orders and GMV must meet three conditions at the same time:

1) Effective payment GMV ≥ 10,000 yuan

2) Effective settlement GMV ≥ 3,000 yuan

3) The number of effective sales orders ≥ 50.

Benefit 4: Merchants who activate and use WeChat Store freight insurance will be able to enjoy "technical service fee reduction" and "traffic voucher rewards."

Benefit 5: Enter the store backend "Service Market-Business Tools" and choose the corresponding tool for trial. Support merchants to try it for 7 days at 0 yuan, helping merchants to manage goods, orders and other operations.

Just a few days ago, Jianshi published an article stating that the news that the number of WeChat Store distributors had dropped sharply from 20,000 to 10 was a sign that WeChat Store was about to make a major adjustment. Today’s new policy is an important signal of the official adjustment of WeChat Store.
