Amazon US UPS return service extended to November 1

Amazon US UPS return service extended to November 1

Amazon US announced that Amazon recently launched UPS as a new option for buyers to return goods. Under the Amazon Prepaid Return Label (APRL) program, UPS returns are applicable to items under 15 ounces and 130 inches in circumference. The service period of this option has been extended to November 1, 2022.

Amazon noted that temporarily offering UPS as a return shipping option will allow Amazon to better understand the impact of the convenience of returns on items sold by self-fulfillment sellers.

At the same time, Amazon will continue to reimburse the shipping cost difference between UPS and USPS shipping labels. Based on seller feedback, Amazon will automatically reimburse the difference for all eligible returns before December 1, 2022. If the seller has not yet submitted a claim, and there is no need to take any action, Amazon will automatically refund the seller the difference before December 1, 2022.

Amazon Logistics today launched its Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) network, providing a pay-as-you-go warehousing solution for sellers on the US site, helping to solve the problem of replenishment for sellers on the US site.

AWD can help sellers send and store inventory to Amazon AWD warehouses (near FBA warehouses) through third-party cross-border logistics and Amazon cross-border logistics services (AGL), and automatically replenish inventory in a timely manner based on the inventory status of FBA warehouses. This solution allows sellers' FBA warehouses to have inventory without being restricted by storage capacity.

Specifically, the AWD warehouse can automatically replenish inventory to the FBA warehouse, so sellers no longer have to worry about returns due to insufficient space in the FBA warehouse. As long as the AWD distribution center has inventory available for automatic replenishment, the seller's ASIN will be in stock on Amazon.

AWD integrates offline logistics warehousing and online logistics systems to provide a powerful delivery network for sellers' orders, allowing sellers to monitor their own inventory and check the progress of goods transportation at any time.

AWD has the following advantages: official products, stable and reliable; the first leg is compatible with both third-party cross-border logistics and Amazon cross-border logistics services (AGL); forward warehouse warehousing, FBA storage capacity guarantee; automatic replenishment (sellers can choose manual replenishment); transparent prices, no additional surcharges.

Please note that AWD is not suitable for the following products: unclassifiable, heavy and bulky, dangerous goods, temperature controlled, perishable items with shelf life, shoes and jewelry, and multiple ASIN packaging boxes.
